Abstract
Improvement of the employees working achievement is highly needed in order to lead the organizational goals .to be maximal. Efforts to improve the working achievement may be reached in various manners. However, factors causing the increase or decreaSe of the working achievement should be necessarily found out first. This research, attempted to discover factors presumed to affect the low working achievement of employees in HMS. Some theories outlining this research include: woiking achievement theory, organizational climate theory, leadership theory, and motivation' theory. This research was purposed to find out correlations between tiariables Undied and the working achievement in HMS. '- addition, this research applit,c1 both qualitative and quantitative method.s and involved 30 persons to be respondents. The sampling techniques were by means of simple random sampling. Techniques of hypothesis test used Kendall's Rank. From results of the research the writer Ibund that the hypothesis was rejected, meaning that there were no correlations between leadership, motivation, and organization climate, and employee's working achievement at the significance level of 5 %. This research suggests that improvement of leadership role, creation of conducive organizational climate, and increase of motivation within an organization in order to improve the working achievement of employees should be considered. Peningkatan Prestasi kerja karyawan sangat diperiukan dalam rangka membawa kearah mjuan organisasi yang maksimal. Upaya meningkatkan Prestasi Ketja ditempub dengan 'ierbagai macam cara, namun perlu diketahui terlebih dahulu faktor-faktor penyebab meningkat atau rnenurunnya Prestasi Kerja. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mencoba mencari faktor-faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi rendalmya prestasi kerja karyawan di Universitas Muhaminadiyah Surakarta. Teori yang mendasari penelitian ird adalah teori Prestasi Kerja, teori lklim Organisasi, teen Kepemimpinan dan teori Motivasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel yang diteliti dengan Prestasi Kerja di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Penelitian ini rnenggunakan metode kualitatif dan lcuantitatif, sedangkan jumlah respoden yang diambil 30 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan menggunakan simpel random sampling. Teknik uji hipotesis menggunakan Rank Kendall, dari basil penelitian ditemukan bahwa hipot6sis ditolak dalam artian tidak ada hubungan antara Kepemimpinan, Iklim Organisasi dan Motivasi dengan Prestasi Kerja kaiyawan Universitas MuhammadiS•li Surakarta, pada taraf signifikansi 5 %. Saran yang diajukan berdasiukan ten mat. hasil penelitian ini adalah perlunya meningitaf,,aa peranan Kepemiatpinan, inenciptalcan Iklim Organisasi yang kondusif dan meningkalkan Motivasi di dalarn organisasi sebingga akan semakin meningkatkan Prestasi Kerja Karyawan.
