Abstract
This Research was intended to know the relation between Motivation (X), Ability of Government Employees (X2 ) and Culture of Organitation (X3) with the Working Effectiveness of Government Employees at the Foreign Trade, The Provincial Industry and Trade Office, Central Java in Semarang (Y). The population were 62 people with 32 people as respondents. Hypotheses test used Kendall's tau-b formulation to know the relation between independent variable with dependent variable and analysis of Kendall —W test to know the relation between independent variable together with dependent variable. Analysis on the relation between each of the independent variable and dependent variable show that : 1. The relation between motivation with working effectiveness was negative and not significant with 0.793 significance level and — 0.044 correlation coefficient. 2. The relation betweeen Ability of Government Employees with working effectiveness was positive and significant with 0.002 Significance level and 0.469 correlation coefficient. 3. The relation between Culture of organitation was positive and significant with 0.001 significance level and 0.470 coefficient correlation. 4. The relation betweeen motivation, ability of government and culture of organitation with working effectiveness was positive and significant with 0.000 significance level and 0.309 Kendall — W test. Therefore it is summarized that the rest 90.45% of Working Effectiveness at the Foreign Trade, The Profincial Industry and Trade Office, Central Java in Semarang is influenteed by other factors outside those analyzed in this research. Therefore it is recommended that these factors should be analyzed by further research in this topic for detail be research on government employes for example the relation between working effectiveness with a culture of friendly, the office instrument. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi, kemampuan pegawai dan budaya organisasi dengan efektivitas kerja pegawai di Sub Dinas Perd gangan Luar Negeri, Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Populasi sebanyak 62 pegawai dan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 32 pegawai. Uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus Kendall's tau-b untuk mengetahui hubungan antara masing-masing variabel independen dengan variabel dependen, dan analisis konkordansi Kendall (W) untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel independen secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel dependen. Analisis hubungan antara 3 (tiga ) variabel independen motivasi ( X1 ), kemampuan pegawai ( X2 ) dan Budaya Organisasi ( X3) dengan Efektivitas Kerja ( Y ), baik secara sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama menunjukkan sebagai berikut : 1. Hubungan motivasi dengan efektivitas kerja negatif dan tidak sigilfikan dengan nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0.793 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar — 0.044 . 2. Hubungan antara kemampuan pegawai dengan efektivitas kerja positif dan signifiltan dengan nilai signifdtansi 0.002 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.469 3. Antara budaya organisasi dengan efektivitas kerja positif dan signifikan dengan nilai atau harga signifikansi 0.001 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.470. 4. Hubungan antara variabel motivasi, kemampuan pegawai dan budaya organisasi terhadap efektivitas kerja positif dan signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 dan anglca Kendall — W sebesar 0.309 . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, masih banyak sisa sebesar 90.45% dari faktor-faktor (variabel ) lainnya yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kerja pegawai. Untuk menyenapurnakan hasil penelitian, maka direkomendasikan agar diadakan penelitian lebih lanjut menggunakan variabel-variabel selain dari yang sudah diteliti
