ANALISIS KUALITAS PELAYANAN SEBAGAI STRATEGI MENCIPTAKAN KEPUASAN PADA PANGKALAN PENDARATAN IKAN (PPI) MORODEMAK

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate that cause the lack of usage of Morodemak Fish Landing Base (MDFLB) ,to analyse the service quality as the strategy to create satisfaction and also to formulate approprite strategy for the organizer of service in MDFLB. This study is suitable to the main problem of the research that is the lack of usage of MDFLB by the local fishermen. The research sample is conducted with 175 quartermaster fishmen of the ship or boats in three villages that is Morodemak, Margolinduk, and Purworejo.The sample is taken by using the porposional stratified random sampling method. The analysis tehnic used the test of the research model is the factor analysis and test of regression. The factor analysis is used to find the relation between the number of local variable, from the factor analysis we can get three variables, that is : Resposibility, Image , and Transparancy. After that test regression is done and as the independent variable we use service quality together with three variables as result of factor analysis and as the dependent variable we used fisherman satisfaction. The research finding is that fisherman satisfaction is influensed by service quality, responsibility, image, and transparancy, whole the most influential independent variable to the fisherman satisfaction is the tranparancy variable with beta coeficient equal to 0,421; service quality variable 0,212; image variable 0,152; and responsibility variable 0,132 succesively. To improve the satisfaction of fisherman hence the organizer of MDFLB need to do the followings; socialization to regulate the auction, to provide up to date fish price information, to cooperate with finansial institution, to make relation with local elite society and also to make the management of fisherman right more easily. As for limitation of this research is value of adj. R2 the lowness can be made base for future research. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginventarisir faktor-faktor penyebab rendahnya pemanfaatan Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Morodemak, menganalisis kualitas pelayanan sebagai strategi meneiptakan kepuasan, serta merumuskan strategi yang sesuai bagi penyelenggara pelayanan di PPI. Hal ini sesuai dengan masalah utama penelitian yaitu rendahnya pemanfaatan PPI Morodemak oleh nelayan sekitarrtya Sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 175 orang nelayan jurumudi kapal/perahu yang ada Tri Desa Morodemak yaitu Desa Morodemak, Desa Margolinduk clan Desa Purworejo. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode proporsional stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji model penelitian adalah analisis faktor dan uji regresi, analisis faktor digunakan untuk menemukan hubungan antar sejumlah variabel lokal, dari analisis faktor didapatkan 3 (tiga) kumpulan variabel yaitu : Responsibility, Image, dan Transparansi. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji regresi, sebagai variabel independen adalah kualitas pelayanan bersama ketiga variabel hasil analisis faktor dan sebagai variabel dependen adalah kepuasan nelayan. Temuan penelitian ini adalah kepuasan nelayan dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pelayanan, responsibility, image, dan transparansi, sedangkan variabel independen yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan nelayan adalah variabel transparansi dengan koefisien beta sebesar 0,421 disusul berturut-turut variabel kualitas pelayanan 0,212, variabel image 0,152 serta variabel responsibility 0,132. Untuk meningkatkan kepuasan nelayan maim pengelola PPI Morodemak perlu melakukan beberapa hal antara lain : melakukan sosialisasi terhadap peraturan pelelangan, menyediakan informasi harga ikan yang up to date, melakukan kerjasama dengan lembaga keuangan, menjalin hubungan dengan tokoh masyarakat setempat serta mempermudah pengurusan hak-hak nelayan. Adapun keterbatasan penelitian ini, misalnya nilai adjusted 12.2 yang relatif rendah dapat dijadikan dasar bagi penelitian mendatang.
