Abstract
Use of radiation and radiology chemicl materials at a hospital is commonly done. Laboratory at Educational Intitution especially at Radiodiagnostic Engineering usually uses radiation and chemical materials for practical ativities. The intitution must obey regulation about radiation safety and uses of chemical materials. Health polytechnic of Semarang has not done the whole management spects and controlled hazardous chemical materials. Aim of this research as to- describe development of management system implementation of radiation safety and controlling hazardous chemical materials. Type of this research was qualitative study using qusi-experimental design. Sample was Structural officer, Lecturer, Laboratory Technical, Head of Laboratory Unit, and Students t Radiodiagnostic Engineering at Health Polytechnic of Semarang. Data were collected by Systemic Holistic Interdisciplinary, and Participatory (SHIP) approach through workshops and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Impelnentation of radiation safety and controlling hazardous chemical materials at Radiodiagnostic Engineering t Health Polytechnic of Semarang has not been done properly. Design of resulted development has not referred to the regulation especially in aspect of dose monitoring and test of health. Otherwise, design of controlling radiology hazardous chemical materials has already referred to the regulation. Standart Operating Procedure (SOP) in which is arranged comprises SOP for work with radiation and chemical materials. Value of evaluation for planning after designed system is 91,67. it mens very good planning. Monitoring dose should be conducted towrds student and the result should be recorded and evaluated. Meeting for whole workers should be conducted to socialize risks of radiology chemical materials. Storage of chemical materials should be separated with other materials. The processing should be privided by adding safety and occupational health of radiology chemical materials. A Radiographer should have one badge film for accurateness of recording personal dose. Making fixer solution should use acid box. Pengembangan Implementasi Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Radiasi dan Pengendalian Bahan Kimia Berbahaya di Laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Radiodiagnostik Poltekkes Semarang. Pemanfaatan radiasi dan bahan kimia radiologi di rumah sakit sudah tidak asing lagi, selain itu di laboratorium Institusi pendidikan khususnya Jurusan Teknik Radiodiagnostik juga memanfaatkan radiasi dan bahan kimia pada saat praktek laboratorium. Peraturan tentang keselamatan radiasi dan penggunaan bahan kimia. juga mengikat institusi pendidikan yang memanfaatkan radiasi dan bahan kimia. Di Jurusan Teknik Radiodiagnostik Poltekkes Semarang belum melaksanakan semua aspek manajemen keselamatan radiasi dan juga belum melaksanakan pengendalian bahan kimia berbahaya radiologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan pengembangan irnplementasi sistem manajemen keselamatan radiasi dan pengendalian bahan kimia berbahaya radiologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan eksperimen semu (quasi experiment), sampel penelitian yaitu pejabat struktural, dosen, laboran, kepala unit laboratorium dan mahasiswa di Jurusan teknik Radiodiagnostik Poltekkes Semarang. Metode pengumpulan data dengan pendekatan SHIP (Sistemic Holistic, Interdisiplinary and Participatory) melalui workshops. Analisa data menggunakan analisa kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem manajemen keselamatan radiasi dan pengendalian bahan kimia berbahaya radiologi di Jurusan Teknik Radiodiagnostik belum semuanya sesual dengan ketentuan. Rancangan pengembangan yang dihasilkan bahwa sistem majamenen keselamatan radiasi belum semua sesuai dengan ketentuan -yaitu pada aspek pemantuan dosis dan pemeriksaan kesehatan, sedangkan rancangan pengendalian bahan kimia berbahaya radiologi sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan. SOP yang disusun mencakup SOP bekerja dengan radiasi dan bahan kimia. Evaluasi perencanaan setelah ada rancangan nilainya 91,67 yang artinya perencanaan baik sekali Selanjutnya perlu tetap dilakukan pemantuan dosis terhadap mahasiswa, hasilnya dicatat dan dievaluasi. Mengadakan pertemuan seluruh pegawai untuk sosialisasi tentang resiko bahan kimia radiologi. Penyimpanan bahan kimia dipisahkan dengan bahan lain dan kamar pengolahan film dilengkapi wash taffel dan emergency shower. Revisi kurikulum dengan mencantumkan K3 bahan kimia radiologi. Seorang radiografer hanya mempunyai satu film badge (nomor identitas) untuk keakuratan pencatatan dosis perorangan dan pada saat pembuatan larutan fixer menggunakan lemari asam.
