UJI BANDING PERBEDAAN KECEPATAN PENYEMBUHAN PADA PENGGUNAAN KORTIKOSTEROID + TRIPEPTIDE COPPER COMPLEX TOP1KAL DENGAN KOKITKOSTEROID TOPIKAL SAJA PADA PENGOBATAN DERMATTIIS KONTAK ALERGIK

Abstract

Occupational contact dermatitis is frequently encountered in building construction workers exposed to building material. Irritant contact dematitis happens more often than allergic contact dermatitis. These diseases are difficult to differentiate clinically, therefore patch test is needed. Corticosteroid remains the most preferred therapy for allergic contact dermatitis, topically or systemic but it has a high incidence of side-effects. Several studies reported that tripeptide copper complex has a role in wound healing and tissue repair. The aim of the study was to compare the result of allergic contact dermatitis therapy with topical corticosteroid + tripeptide copper complex and topical corticosteroid alone. This was a double-blind randomized controlled trial of 52 skin disorders in 20 building construction workers that were devided into two groups with a rondomized permutted block style. Each of them was given topical corticosteroid + tripeptide copper complex or topical corticosteroid alone day and night for 14 days with a 3 days evaluation. Assesment of clinical improvement was done by measuring the decrease in skin color (erythem), transepidermal water loss, and increase epidermal water content. In this study, therapy with corticosteroid + tripeptide copper complex gave a better result than corticosteroid alone. Dermatitis Kontak Alcibat Kerja sering diderita oleh pekerja konstruksi bangunan akibat terpajan bahan-bahan bangunan. Dermatitis kontak iritan lebih banyak dijurnpai daripada dermatitis kontak alergik. Secara klinis sulit dibedakan sehingga diperlukan pemeriksaan uji tempsl untuk membedakannya. Kortikosteroid saat ini masih merupakan obat pilihan untuk dennatitis kontak alergik, balk topikal maupim sistemik namun diketahui mempunyai banyak efek samping. Pada beberapa penelitian telah disebutkan bahwa tripeptide copper complex mempunyai peran dalam penyembuhan luka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan hashl pengobatan antara kortikosteroid + tripeptide copper complex topikal dengan kortikosteroid topikal saja. Pei.elitian ini adalah studi acak terkontrol buta ganda pada 52 lokasi kelainan kulit dari 20 pekerja konstruksi bangunan, dikelompokkan secara randomized permutted block dan masing-masing mendapat pengobatan dengan kortikosteroid + tripeptide copper complex atm kortikosteroid saja yang digunakan pagi dan malam ban selama 14 hari dengan evaluasi setiap 3 hari. Penelitian dilakukan dengan niengukur perubahan warna kulit (eritema), transepidermal water loss dan kelembaban epidermis. Dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengobatan dengan kortikosteroid + tripeptide copper complex memberikan perbaikan yang cukup bennakna dibandingkan kortikosteroid saja.
