Abstract
Objective: To improve ultrasonography imaging for acute abdomen diagnosis. Material and Methode: This study is a cross sectional study on acute abdomen case with ultrasonography at Radiology Department Kariadi General Hospital/Medical Faculty of Diponegoro of University from May 1999 to December 1999. Thirty six samples were obtained with 8 samples without surgery because they had concervative theraphy and death; and 38 samples with surgery confirmation and ultrasonography. We found sensitivity were 70,5% and specifity 63,6% and acuracy 75%. Conclusion: - The samples not show causative ethiology - The samples number not filled standard Criteria.
