Abstract
Up to now American management has dominated management thought around the world. Management scholars, consultants and practicing managers preach and teach American management without rethinking and questioning cultural values underlying American management concepts and theories. This article discusses the influences of some cultural values on management theories and practices. Besides, it is expected that the students of management are aware of cultural values differences behind the management thought and practices.
