Abstract

This research attempt to analyze technical efficiency of Indonesia banking. The samples of 18 bank were gathered from the total population – of 22 Indonesian go-public bank in year 2002. Non-parametric approach of. Data Envelopment Analysis, is employed to analyze the technical and scale efficiencies of Indonesian go–public banking. Three input factors and three output factors were used in this study. The results indicate that the presence of technical efficiency and productivity growth are in the frontier in year 2002. More over only the twelve bank are found to be technically efficient. Key-words : DEA, Technical efficiency, Banking, BEJ
