Abstract

As cigarette company which in its business activity used machine and tools, which automatically strive guarantee of employees in their work to reach high productivity level. From amount cigarette production data which produce by PT. Tapel Kuda Kencana Juwana during year 1998 - 2000 seen tend stabilize or even also decrease, this matter enabled because there are no many participated employees in Jamsostek program. Existence of employees participated in Jamsostek program which conducted by company become of vital importance to employees. Employees which involved in Jamsostek program will feel balmy and protected with existence of Jamsostek program. With existence of feeling balmy and protected, employees will impel to work as maximum in doing their job so that expected work productivity can increase. This research purpose to know influence of employees participated variabel in Jamsostek program (X) to employees work productivity (Y) at cigarette company PT. Tapel Kuda Kencana Juwana. Population of this research are PT Tapel Kuda Kencana Juwana employees as much 425 and sampel which used as much 90 people by using Proportionate stratified random sampling. Its Measurement scale used scale type interval measurement At data analysis used linear regresi test and correlation modestly. While examination of hypothesis conducted by using t-test and Determinasi coefficient test. According to data analysis known that employees participation in Jamsostek program have an lower effect or weaken to employees work productivity as much 20,3%. This matter showed if employees participation level in Jamsostek program increase hence work productivity of PT. Tapel Kuda Kencana Juwana employees will increase too although ill assorted with improvement of employees participation in Jamsostek program (because of weaken or lower influence). According to this research Head of PT. Tapel Kuda Kencana Juwana need to pay attention to employees participation in Jamsostek program especially in health service, company shall reanimate adequate health supporter facility (hygiene of rest room, bed for take a rest, medicine). And also the number of job accident (worker's hand which hit tools/ machine for roll cigarette) hence for prevention of job accident, company shall improve the amount of peacemaker equipments (glove) provided to employees and also article, symbol or picture commemoration of job accident
