Abstract
The Economic Base Model in Macro Economics is used to formulate the regional planning. One oldie technique in the Economic Base Model is Location Quotient (LQ) This paper provides theoretical review on merits and demerits of LQ technique. Thereafter, critics and suggestion are invited to, final a better approach to design regional planning. Keywords : Economic Base Model. Regional Development Planning, Location Quotient.
