Abstract

Nurse employees of the public Health center in the important role for giving cured and health service for patients and the outside activities of Public Health service, for this reason nurses are demanded to be able to do the task professionally. Professionalism can increase the quality and satisfaction work. Research purpose is able to know the effect of nurse's characteristic and job condition to satisfaction work in the public health center non treatment in Pati Regency. This research is explorative. All research population are 179 nurses who work in the public health center, the sample of research is stated purposively by criteria's work in the non treatment public health center and Voccasional health school in totality 125 nurses. A dependent variable is nurse's characteristic (age and length of job) and job condition involves situation work, supervision, salary/insentivity, work friends/partners, promotion. An independent variable is work satisfaction. Data are analyzed by Pearson correlation statistic test and double regretion by 95 % (p = 0,05) significant indicator. Research result shows that there is relation between the respondents age and work satistfaction (p=0,002) significanly and the five of work condition variable there is relation with work satisfaction (work situation p=0,000, promotion p=0,000, salarynnsentivity p=0,007, supervision p=0,01, work friends/partners p=0,021). As together, there is an influence of nurse's characteristic and job condition for work satisfaction. Recommendation which can be given for this research in order that nurses can increase work productivity, and at last, it can increase work satisfaction and also decrease continuation and boredom one, the chief of public health center can do work rotation periodically. Besides that the chief of public health center in doing supervision can give guidance and accept the lowance's idea and give reward/warm if possible. It is necessary for spesial research about the relation between work satisfaction and salary / insentivity. Tenaga perawat di Puskesmas memegang peranan penting dalam memberikan pelayanan pengobatan kepada para pasien dan kegiatan puskesmas diluar gedung, untuk itu perawat dituntut dapat melaksanakan tugas secara profesional. Profesionalisme dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan kepuasan kerja. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik perawat dan faktor kondisi pekerjaan terhadap kepuasan kerja di Puskesmas non perawatan di Kabupaten Pati. Penelitian ini bersifat eksploratif. Populasi penelitian semua perawat yang bertugas di Puskesmas sebanyak 179 perawat, sampel penelitian ditentukan secara purposive dengan kriteria bekerja di Puskesmas non perawatan dan berpendidikan Sekolah Perawat Kesehatan (SPK) dengan jumlah 125 perawat. Variabel bebas karakteristik perawat ( umur dan masa kerja) dan kondisi kerja meliputi situasi pekerjaan, supervisi, gaji/insentif, teman kerja, promosi. Variabel terikat kepuasan kerja. Data dianalisis dengan uji statistik korelasi Pearson dan regresi ganda dengan indikator signifikansi 95 % ( p = 0,05 ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur responden ada hubungan yang signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja ( p = 0,002) dan kelima variabel kondisi kerja ada hubungan yang signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja ( situasi pekerjaan p = 0,000, promosi p = 0,000, gajiAnsentif p = 0,007 , supervisi p = 0,01, teman kerja p = 0,02 ). Secara bersama — sama karakteristik perawat dan kondisi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan dalam penelitian ini agar perawat dapat meningkatkan produktifitas kerja yang akhimya dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja serta untuk mengurangi kerutinan dan kebosanan kerja , kepada puskesmas dapat melaksanakan rotasi kerja secara berkala. Selain itu Kepala Puskesmas dalam melaksanakan supervisi dapat memberikan bimbingan / pembinaan serta mau menerima masukan bawahan dan bila perlu memberikan reward / teguran. Perlu penelitian khusus tentang kepuasan kerja yang berkaitan dengan gajiAnsentif.
