Abstract

The Land Office of Pekalongan Regency is a government institution of which its delivered public service is of the importance to be enhanced. This research, entitled "Analysis on Factors Influencing Quality of Service of Land Right Certification at the Land Office, Pekalongan Regency", is intended to know the influence of quality of manpower, socialization, communication, and information to service. Data was gathered using questionairres, interview, and documents, while samples were taken from population of the whole employees of the office. Test of the relation between dependent and independent variables employed Pearson Correlation formula. Gathered data were analyzed qualitatively. Meanwhile Double Regression formula was employed to test the hypotheses. It is believed that quality of manpower influences quality of work of each employee. Good quality of manpower will enable jobs done well. Good socialization will make the society's understanding on land problems is clearer, so that they will understand both their rights and duties. Good communication will make job easier to be done. Finally, good information system on land problems will enable the society easier to get information on land right, whether as object or subject. Research finding shows that quality of manpower, socialization, communication and information variables, whether individually or collectively, indeed significantly influence quality of service. If each variable increase, the quality of service will also increase. Therefore to incense the quality of service at the Land Office of Pekalongan Regency, the four variables should also be incensed.
