Pengaruh Manajemen Sekolah, Pengelolaan Pembelajaran, dan Komite Sekolah Terhadap Mutu Sekolah SMP Rintisan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (Studi Kasus Di SMP Negeri 2, SMP Negeri 3, dan SMP Domenico Savio Semarang) (The influence of school management, the arrangement of study and School Committee to the quality of Junior High School use management school principal ( case study in SMP Negeri 2, SMP Negeri 3, and SMP Domenico Savio Semarang ) )

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to describe the level of school management, the arrangement of study, and the role of School Committee and the quality of school in Junior High School use management school principal in Semarang. Beside that, to testify the relation of variable of school management, the arrangement of study and School Committee to the quality of School. The population of this research is 160 respondent and sample is determined with Krejcie Morgan formula at accuration level 5%, so we can get sample 113 people. The data of this research is collected by using questioner for all variables and documentation method to collect secondary data The instrument of questioner has been testified and being analyzed the validity and reliability well. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis by using requirements and the test of relation by using regression analysis. Based on descriptive analysis, we got variable of school management , the arrangement of study, and school committee to the quality of Junior High School use management school principal in Semarang mostly in good category. Meanwhile the result of regression analysis showed that variable of school management , the quality of arrangement of study, and school committee coordinately have the significant effect to the quality of school. If we pay more attention, the result of regression analysis showed dependently the variable of school management and the variable of arrangement of study have thesignificant effect to the quality of school, meanwhile the influence of variable of school committee to the quality of school is not significant. The implementation of study result found that the variable of school management and the quality of arrangement of study have the significant effect to the quality of school use management school principal, so in the implementation of management school principal in all Junior High School in Semarang, the training of ideal school management for headmaster is very necessary. Beside that the variable of school committee don't have significant effect to the quality of school use management school principal, it doesn't have implementation that the role of school committee hasn't been optimal in giving donation to the increase of quality of school. It is caused by school committee as an organization which is still young, so it doesn't capable optimally in the increase of quality of school . Tujuan penelitian dalam tesis ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan tingkat manajemen sekolah, pengelolaan pembelajaran, dan peran komite sekolah, dan mutu sekolah di SNIP rintisan MBS Kota Semarang. Selain itu untuk menguji keterkaitan variabel Manajemen Sekolah, Pengelolaan Pembelajaran, dan Komite Sekolah Terhadap Mutu Sekolah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 160 responden dan sampel ditentukan dengan formula Krecjie Morgan pada tingkat akurasi 5%, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebesar 113 orang. Data Penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner untuk semua variabel dan metode dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data sekunder. Instrumen kuesioner telah dujicobakan dan dianalisis validitas serta reliabilitasnya sangat baik. Analisis data digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan kriteria dan pengujian hubungan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif diperoleh variabel manajemen sekolah, pengelolaan pembelajaran, dan komite sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah SW' rintisan MBS Kota Semarang sebagian besar berada pada kategori baik. Sedangkan basil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel manajemen sekolah, kualitas pengelolaan pembelajaran, dan komite sekolah secara bersama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah. Apabila diperhatikan lebih jauh hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan secara sendiri-sendiri variabel manajemen sekolah dan variabel pengelolaan pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah, sedangkan pengaruh variabel komite sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah tidak signifikan. Implikasi hasil penelitian yang menemukan bahwa variabel manajemen sekolah dan kualitas pengelolaan pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah rintisan MBS, maka dalam pemberlakuan NIBS di seluruh SMP di Semarang, perlu adanya pelatihan manajemen sekolah yang ideal bagi kepala sekolah. Selain itu variabel komite sekolah tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah rintisan NIBS, hal ini memiliki implikasi bahwa komite sekolah belum secara optimal berperan dalam memberikan sumbangan untuk peningkatan mutu sekolah. Keadaan ini lebih disebabkan oleh komite sekolah merupakan badan yang masih muda usianya, sehingga belum mampu secara optimal untuk berperan dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah.
