Abstract
This research was conducted to examine the effect of fermentation level product of rice straw by rumen content (FPRSRC) in feed and time of investigation on performance production and blood performance of local sheep male. Research was carried out in August 2002 — April 2003 in Feed Technology Laboratory and Feed and Animal Nutrition Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science of Diponegoro University. Material were used in the research were 15 heads local sheep male, between 6¬7 moms old with initial weight gain 12.96 ± 0.83 kg (cv = 6.40%). Design was used in research was completely randomized design (CRD) with repeated measured (CRD in Time), with split plot pattern , feed as the main plot and time of feeding as the sub plot. Treatment *lied were TO : 60% native grass + 0 % FPRSRC + 40% concentrate, Tl : 45% native grass + 15% FPRSRC + 40% concentrate, T2 : 30% native grass + 30% FPRSRC + 40% concentrate, T3 : 15% native grass + 45% FPRSRC + 40% concentrate, T4 : 0% native grass + 60% FPRSRC + 40% concentrate. Each treatments were replicated 3 times. Observation was done in replication every 2 weeks during research periode (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks). Parameter measured were production performance (DM consumtion, efficiency of ration utilization (ERU), average daily gain (ADO), nitrogen retention) and blood performance included Activity of Phosphatase Alkalis (AFA), hemoglobin concentration [Hb] and packed cell volume (PCV). Result of the research showed that level of FPRSRC in ration and time of observation were significance (p<0.05) injclewced on DM consumtion, ERU, ADG, AFA, [Hb] and PCV. Result of the research as followed : the highest averageof DM consumtion was in T2 i.e. 424.97 g/head/d; the highest average of ERU was in T4 i.e. 13.30%; the highest average of ADG was in T2 i.e. 55.75 g/head/d; the highest average of nitrogen retention was in T2 i.e. 6.21 g/head/d; the highest average of AFA was in T2 i.e. 22.39 unit/1; the highest average of [Hb] was in T2 i.e. 14.03 mg%; the highest average of PCV was in T2 i.e. 33.26%; the highest average of time of feeding for all responses was in 12'd weeks. It was concluded that level of FPRSRC product in T2 feed giving the best average of DM consumtion, ADG, nitrogen retention, AFA, [Hb] and PCV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh berbagai aras produk fermentasi jerami padi ragi isi rumen (FJPRIR) dalam ransum dan waktu pengamatan terhadap penampilan produksi dan penampilan darah domba lokal jantan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2002 sampai April 2003 di Laboratorium Teknologi Makanan Temak, Laboratorium Ilmu Makanan Temak pada Jurusan Nutrisi dan Makanan Temak , Falailtas Petemakan Undip. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah 15 ekor domba lokal jantan berumur 6-7 bulan bobot badan berkisar antara 12,96 ± 0,83 kg ( cv = 6,40%). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan pengamatan berulang (RAL in Time) dengan pola split plot, ransum sebagai petak utama dan waktu pengamatan sebagai anak petak Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah TO : 60% nunput lapangan + 0% FJPRIR + 40% konsentrat, T1 : 45% rumput lapangan + 15% FJPRIR +40% konsentrat, 1'2 : 30% nunput lapangan + 30% FJPRIR +40% konsentrat, T3 : 15% rumput lapangan + 45% FJPRIR + 40% konsentrat dan T4 : 0% rumput lapangan + 60% FJPRIR +40% konsentrat. Masing masing perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Pengamatan dilakukan secara berulang setiap 2 minggu selama periode penelitian (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 minggu). Parameter yang diukur meliputi : penampilan produksi (konsumsi ransum bahan kering , keefisienan penggunaan ransum (KPR), pertambahan bobot badan harian (PBBH); retensi nitrogen dan penampilan darah yang mencakup Aktivitas Fosfatase Alkalis (AFA) , konsentrasi hemoglobin ([Hb]) , Packed Cell Volume (PCV).
