ANALISIS KINERJA GURU SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA NEGERI 2 UNGARAN KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the relation among motivation. training, and organization climate partially or simultaneously to teachers performance at SMP Negeri 2 Ungaran Kabupaten Semarang. The research design used in this research is quantitative using explanatory approach. Based on the result of the hypothesis test, there are three independent variables. they are motivation. training. and organization climate. and the dependent variable is teachers performance at SMP Negeri 2 Ungaran Kabupaten Semarang. Using Kendall Rank statistics non parametric for single correlation and Kendall Concordance for double correlation, proved that they have strong and significant coefficient correlation. Based on the result of the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is correlation between motivation variable and teachers performance variable, and the coefficient correlation is 0,673; there is correlation between training variable and teachers performance variable, and the coefficient correlation is 0.367; there is correlation between organization climate ariable and teachers performance variable. and the coefficient correlation is 0.641: there is double correlation among motivation variable. training variable. organization climate variable and teachers performance variable, and obtained that Kendall Concordance coefficient correlation is 0,960 and chi square count value is 115,171. Since chi square count value is more than e/7i square table, that is 115,171 > 7,815. so it can be concluded that those three independent variables and the dependent variable have significant relation. While how big those three independent variables influence the teachers performance as the dependent variable, found from Adjusted R Square determination coefficient value, that is 82,1 %, and 17,9 % influenced by other factors, out of the research variables. The researcher proposes some recommendations that it is necessary to improve teacher competences in using multi teaching methods and interne media; it is necessary to give same opportunities for all teachers to increase their achievements by participating trainings or courses that have relation with.Their daily jobs; it is necessary to do evaluations, done by the headmaster to the 'teachers who participated trainings to know their success or their abilities in understanding the training materials: and it is necessary to develop good communications between the headmaster and the teachers by having consultation. coordination. or non formal conversation in order to make better work atmosphere. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara motivasi, pendidikan dan latihan (diklat) dan iklim organisasi balk secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja Guru SMP Negeri 2 Ungaran Kabupaten Semarang. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan desalt) penelitian kuantititif dengan pendekatan eksplanatori. Dari basil pengujian hipotesis; atas tiga variabel bebas yaitu motivasi kerja. diklat dan iklim organisasi dengan variabel terikat yaitu kinerja Guru di SMP Negeri 2 Ungaran Kabupaten Semarang, dengan statistik non parametrik Rank Kendall untuk korelasi tunggal dan Konkordansi Kendall untuk korelasi Banda terbukti mempunyai koefisien korelasi yang kuat dan signifikan. Vasil uji hipotesis dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja Guru dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,673; terdapat korelasi antara Diklat dengan Kinerja Guru dengan koefisien korelasi yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,367; terdapat korelasi anatara variabel iklim organisasi dengan variabel kinerja Guru dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,641; dan terdapat korelasi berganda antara variabel Motivasi Kerja. Diklat dan Iklim Organisasi dengan Variabel Kinerja Guru dimana dihasilkan nilai koefisien korelasi Konkordansi Kendall sebesar 0,960 dan nilai hitung chi square sebesar 115,171. Karena nilai chi square hitung lehih b.esar daripada chi square label yaitu 115.171 > 7,815, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga variabel bebas tersebut dengan variabel terikat mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan. Sedangkan besarnya pengaruh ketiga variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat kinerja Guru diketahui dari nilai koefisien determinasi Adjusted R Square sebesar 82,1%, sedangkan 17,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar variabel penelitian. Rekomendasi yang diajukan peneliti antara lain : Perlu dilakukan peningkatan kemampuan Guru dalam penggunaan multi metode pengajaran dan pemanfaatan media Internet; Perlu diberikan kesempatan yang sama terhadap semua Guru untuk meningkatkan prestasi melalui keikutsertaan dalam diklat atau kursus yang berkaitan dengan tugas sehari-hari; Perlu dilakukan evaluasi oleh Pimpinan Sekolah kepada Guru yang mengikuti Diklat, untuk diketahui sejauhmana tingkat keberhasilan atau kemampuan dalam memahami materi Diklat.dan Perlu dibangun komunikasi yang baik antara pimpinan sekolah dengan para Guru dan karyawan, baik dalam bentuk konsultasi. koordinasi maupun pembicaraan non formal di luar kedifiasan, agar suasana kerja menjadi lebilh baik.
