Abstract

The research was carried out from August to September 2004 in the dairycompany CV. Argosari at Cepogo Village, Kota District, Boyolali Regency. The aim of the research to lives sicaturi about the influence of the of Katz/ powder in the ration on day mother consumption of woof dry material, total VFA, concentration of amonia rumen and milk protein content. The material used in this research consisted of 1).12 Dairy of Friesian Holstein on the second lactation and fifth month with their initial body weight (BW) was 415,42 kg= 47,30 kg (CV = 11,38%) and the initial milk production was 8,95 liter + 1,28 liter (CV = 14,20%).2). used feed corn straw and 3). given Katu in the form of powder. The research used Complete Random Design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 4 repetition. The tested treatment were: TO = Corn straw (40%) + Concentration (60%) + Kam 0% of BW as a control T1 = Corn straw (40%) + Concentration (60%) + Katu 0.02% of BW T2 = Corn straw (40%) + Concentration (60%) + Katu 0.04% of BW The observed parameter were the consumption of woof dry material (BK) and protein (PK), total VFA, the concentration of NH3 rumen and milk protein content. The collected data was analyzed by using Variance Analysis in the mistake degree of 5%. The result of the research indicates that the giving of katu leaf powder to all observed parameter doesn't show differences (P>0,05). The consumption of woof dry material are 10.22; 9.57; and 11.37 kg/day successively. The consumption of woof protein are 1.35; 1.27; and 1.53 kg/day successively. Total production of VFA rumen are 75,53; 46,10 and 63,99 mM/1 successively. The concentration of amonia rumen are 1.11; 1.75; and 1.890 ml/100 ml/animal and the content of milk protein are 227.54; 239.78 and 294.44 gram/animal/day. The conclusion of the result is that the giving of katu leaf powder in the woof of Dairy Friesian Holstein doesn't influence the woof consumption, the production of VFA, the concentration of NH3 rumen and milk protein content. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bit]] Agustus sampai dengan September' 2004 di peternakan sapi perah CV. Argosari Desa Cepogo, Kecamatan Kota, Kabupaten Boyolali. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung daun katu pada sapi Friesian Holstein (FH) terhadap konsumsi bahan kering pakan, total VFA, konsentrasi amonia rumen dan protein susu. Materi penelitian yang digunakan terdiri alas: I). 12 ekor sapi FH laktasi kedua bulan ke lima dengan bobot badan (BB) rata-rata awal 415,42 kg ± 47,30 kg (CV = 11,38%) dan rata-rata produksi susu awal 8,95 liter ± 1,28 liter ( CV = 14,20% ). 2). Pakan yang digunakan Jerami jagung dan 3). Katu yang diberikan dalam bentuk tepung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah : TO = Jerami jagung (40%) + Konsentrat (60%) + Katu 0 % BB sebagai kontrol T1 = Jerami Jagung (40%) + Konsentrat (60%) + Katu 0,02 % BB T2 = Jerami Jagung (40%) + Konsentrat (60%) + Katu 0,04 % BB Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsumsi bahan kering (BK) dan protein (PK) pakan, total VFA, konsentrasi NH3 rumen dan protein susu. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan analisis ragarn pada tingkat kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian tepung daun katu terhadap semua parameter yang diamati tidak menunjukan perbedaan (P>0,05). Konsumsi BK pakan, masing-masing 10.22; 9.57 dan 11.37 kg/ekor/hari. Rata-rata Konsumsi PK masing-masing 1,35; 1.27 dan 1.53 kg/ekor/hari. Total produksi VFA rumen masing¬masing 75,53; 46,10 dan 63,99 rnM/1. Konsentrasi amonia rumen masing-masing 1.11; 1.75 dan 1.890 cll/lOthnl dan kandungan protein susu masing-masing 227.54; 239.78 dan 249.44 gram/ekor/hari Kesimpulan dari basil penelitian ini adalah pemberian tepung daun katu dalam pakan sapi Friesian Holstein lalctasi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap konsumsi pakan, produksi VFA, konsentrasi NH3 rumen dan protein susu.
