PEMBERIAN PGF2a PADA SAPI PERANAKAN ONGOLE YANG MENGALAMI GANGGUAN KORPUS LUTEUM PERSISTEN (The Aplication of PGF2ct to Peranakan Ongole Cattle which Has Corpus Luteum Persistent.)

Abstract

One of the reproduction cases caused by hormonal factor mostly founded is Corpus Luteum Persisten. This experiment tried to observe the estrous response because of the aplication PGF2a to peranakan Ongole cattle which had Corpus Luteurn Persisten and had under body condition score and bad feeding. This experiment was carried out in Kelompok Penangkar Sapi Potong Desa Medini. Desa Sambung and Desa Undaan Kidul Kecamatan Undaan; Desa Temulus Kecamatan Mejobo; and Desa Pedawang Kecamatan Bae Kabupaten Kudus. It was conducted in August until December 2004. It used 24 Peranakan Ongole cattles had Corpus Luteum Persisten and had under body condition score. The treatment given was the different doze of PGF2a and the different place of aplication PGF2a. The result of this experiment indicated that the onset of estrous in each combination treatment were I.Vag.D5 : 54,75±7,89 hours; I.Vag.D7,5 : 51,00±9,49 hours; I.Vag.D10 : 45,00±8,83 hours; IU.D5 : 45,00±14,70 hours; IU.D7,5 : 44.75±6,65 hours; IU.D10 : 42,75±10,78 hours. The duration of estrous in each is as follows: I.Vag.D5 : 18,75±2,61 hours; I.Vaiz.D7,5 : 20,50±2.65 hours; I.Vaa.D10 : 23.75±2.36 hours; IU.D5:22.25±3,50 hours; IU.D7,5 : 20,00±5,10 hours; IU.D10 : 19,50±3,87 hours. The scores of estrous intensity for these colours were velvet : 2,00 — 2,50; excessive mucus : 1,50 — 1,75; behaviour change : 1,75 — 2,50 and uterus contraction : 2,25 — 2,50. The result of variance analysis indicated that there was no significant difference among the onset of estrous, duration of estrous, and the scores of estrous intensity (P>0,05) in each treatment. The conclusion gained from this experiment showed that giving PGF2a with doze 5 mg were able to overcome the corpus luteum persistent in Peranakan Ongole cattle which had Corpus Luteum Persisten case and had under body condition score rega•dless with the location of giving PGF2a. Salah satu gangguan reproduksi karena faktor hormonal yang paling banyak dijumpai di lapangan adalah kasus korpus luteum persisten. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengamati respon estrus karena pemberian PGF2a pada Sapi Peranakan Ongole dengan korpus luteum persisten dan mempunyai skor kondisi tubuh kurus tanpa perbaikan pakan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kelompok Penangkar Sapi Potoint Desa Medini. Desa Sambung dan Desa Undaan Kidul Kecamatan Undaan. Desa lemulus Kecamatan Mejobo dan Desa Pedawang Kecamatan Bae Kabupaten Kudus. Waktu penelitian dafi bulan Agustus s/d Desember 2004. Penelitian menggunakan 24 ekor sapi betina dengan korpus luteum persisten dan mempunyai skor kondisi tubuh kurus. Perlakuan yang diberikan berupa perbedaan dosis PGF2a dan perbedaan lokasi aplikasinya. Hasil penelitian terhadap kecepatan timbulnya estrus pada masing — masing kombinasi perlakuan adalah I.Vag.D5 : 54,75±7.89 jam : I.Vaa.D7,5 : 51.00± 9.49 jam; I.Vag.D10 : 45,00±8,83 jam ; IU.D5 : 45,00± 14,70 jam ; IU.D7.5 : 44,75±6.65 jam; IU.D10 : 42,75±10,78 jam. Lama estrus pada I.Vau.D5 : 18,75±2,61 jam ; I.Vag.D7,5 : 20,50±2,65 jam; I.Vag.D10 : 23,75±2,36 jam ; IU.D5 : 22,25±3,50 jam ; IU.D7,5 : 20,00±5,10 jam; IU.D10 : 19,50+3,87 jam. Intensitas estrus untuk warna vulva mempunyai skor 2,00 — 2,50; kelimpahan lendir 1,50 — 1,75: perubahan perilaku 1,75 — 2,50 dan ketegangan uterus 2,25 — 2,50. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada kecepatan timbulnya estrus, lama estrus dan intensitas estrus (P>0,05) antar perlakuan. Kesimpulan yang didapat dad penelitian lin adalah pemberian dosis PGF2a 5 mg telah dapat mengatasi kasus korpus luteum persisten pada Sapi Peranakan Ongole dengan kondisi tubuh kurus tanpa memperhatikan lokasi aplikasi pemberian PGF2a.
