Abstract

The theory of atherogenesis which caused by hyperlipidemia or the response from the injury or both of them are still debating. The aim of the study is to prove of the effects of initial adrenaline injection intravenously with egg yolk dietary to the serum lipid levels foam cells and the thickness of abdominal aortic wall of Wistar. The randomized post-test control group was chosen as a research design. The object of the study was 20 Wistar, which were divided into 5 groups. All of the groups were treated differently, such as Group I treated with standard diet; Group II injected by 0,006 mg adrenaline; Group III treated with 10 grams egg yolk dietary; Group IV injected by 0,006 mg adrenalin on the first day, followed by egg yolk dietary on the 2nd-14th days. Groups V fed with egg yolk dietary on the first day until the 13rd days, on the 14th days, injected with adrenaline, finally on the 15 days, the lipid of the serum level, foam cells and the thickness of abdominal aortic wall were measured. Data were analyzed by Univariate Analysis, Kruskal-Wallis and Man-Whitney test for differentiation, followed with Spearman correlations test. If the data were abnormal, Kolmogorov-Sinirnof test was used for analyses. The results of the study showed that mean of total cholesterol (p=0,007), LDL (p=0,003), triglyceride (p=0,006), foam cells (p=0,001) and thickness of aortic wall (p=0,001) in the group IV were highest than the others. The lowest was the mean of HDL (0,002). Mann-Whitney test for total cholesterol between group I and IV or IV and IV and V (p<0.05). HDL between all of the groups p<0,05. LDL in the group T and IV (p=0,020), I and V (p=0,020), IV and V (p=0,021). Triglyceride in the group I and IV (r3,019), I and V (p0,020), IV and V (p=0,021). Foam cells between all of the groups p<0,05. The thickness of aortic wall between groups was significantly different (p<0,05). Data distribution on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was abnormally, so Spearman correlations test among groups with LDL (0,756); groups and foam cells (0,793); groups and the thickness of aortic wall (0,776); groups and HDL were 0,502; HDL and LDL were —0,067; HDL and foam cells were —0,415 (p=0,069); HDL and the thickness of aortic wall were —0,425 (p=0,062); LDL and foam cells were 0,794; LDL and the thickness of aortic were 0,770; foam cells and the thickness of aortic wall were 0,968. The conclusion of the study is adrenaline injection (group II) and egg yolk dietary (group III) was increasing of total cholesterol, LDL, triglyceride, foam cells and the thickness of aortic wall, but decreasing of HDL. Total cholesterol, LDL, triglyceride, foam cells and the thickness of aortic wall in the group 11 were lowered than group III, but the HDL higher. Adrenaline injection followed with egg yolk dietary (group IV) and yolk dietary followed with adrenaline injection (group V) increasing of total cholesterol, LDL, triglyceride, foam cells and the thickness of aortic wall, but decreasing of HDL. Total cholesterol, LDL, triglyceride, foam cells and the thickness of aortic wall in the group IV higher than group V, but HDL lower. The increasing of LDL has correlation with the addition of foam cells and the thickness of aortic wall, but increasing of foam cells also has correlation with the thickness of aortic wall. The increasing of HDL also has correlation with the decreasing of LDL, and the reducing of foam cells and the thickness of aortic wall. Aterogenesis akibat hiperlipidemia maupun respon terhadap jejas atau keduanya, masih diperdebatkan. Penelitian int bertujuan membuktlkan bahwa injeksi inisial adrenalin I V yang dilanjutkan diet KT intermitten, meningkatkan kadar lipid, jumlah sel busa dan ketebalan dinding aorta abdominalis. Penelitian eksperimental Randomized Post-test Control Group ini menggunakan 20 tikes Wistar jantan, dibagi acak menjadi S kelompok. Empat tikus hanya diberi pakan standar (kelompok I). Kelompok II diinjeksi 0,006 mg adrenalin. Kelompok III diberi diet 10 gram KT. Kelompok N diinjeksi 0,006 mg adrenalin di hari pertama, dilanjutkan diet KT di hari ke-2 sampai ke-14. Kelompok V diberi diet KT di had ke-1 sampai ke-13, dan diinjeksi adrenalin di hari ke-14. Pada hari ke-15, dilakukan pemeriksaan kadar lipid, jumlah sel busa dan ketebalan dinding aorta. Data dianalisis univariat, uji beds Kruskal-Wallis dan Man-Whitney, kemudian diuji korelasi Spearman, setelah menilai normalitas distribusi data dengan uji Komogorov-Smirnov. Rerata kolesterol total (p=0,007), LDL (p=0,003), trigliserida (p=0,006), sel busa (p=0,001) dan ketebalan dinding aorta (p=0,001) pada kelompok IV paling tinggi dibandingkan kelompok lain Rerata HDL (p=0,002) paling rendah. Uji Mann-Whitney kolesterol total kelompok 1 dengan IV dan V, IV dengan V (p<0.05). HDL antara semua kelompok p<0,05. LDL kelompok I dengan (p-3,020), I dengan V (p=0,020) dan IV dengan V (p=0,021). Trigliserida kelompok 1 dengan IV (p=0,019), I dengan V (p=0,020), dan TV dengan V (p=0,021). Sel busa antara semua kelompok p<0,05. Ketebalan aorta antara semua kelompok berbeda bermakna (p<0,05). Distribusi data pada uji Kolmogorov-Smimov tidak normal, sehingga uji korelasi Spearman antara kelompok perlakuan dengan LDL (0,756); kelompok perlakuan dengan sel busa (0,793); dan kelompok perlakuan dengan ketebalan aorta (0,776); antara kelompok perlakuan dengan HDL -0,502; antara HDL dengan LDL —0,667; antara HDL dengan sel busa -0.415 (p=0,069); antara HDL dengan ketebalan aorta -0.425 (p=0,062); antara LDL dengan sel busa 0,794; antara LDL dengan ketebalan aorta 0,770; antara sel busa dengan ketebalan aorta sebesar 0,968. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu injeksi adrenalin (kelompok II) dan diet KT (kelompok III) meningkatkan kolesterol total, LDL dan trigliserida, sel busa dan ketebalan dinding aorta, namtm menurtmkan HDL. Kolesterol total, LDL, trigliserida, sel busa dan ketebalan dinding aorta films kelompok II lebih rendah dibandingkan tikus kelompok III, namun HDL-nya lebih tinggi. Adrenalin diteruskan diet KT (kelompok IV) dan diet KT diteruskan adrenalin (kelompok V), meningkatkan kolesterol total, LDL, trigliserida, sel busa dan ketebalan dinding aorta, namun menurunkan HDL. Kolesterol total, LDL, trigliserida, sel busa dan ketebalan dinding aorta tikus kelompok IV lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok V, namun HDL-nya lebih rendah. Peningkatan LDL berkaitan dengan penambahan sel busa dan penebalan dinding aorta, sedangkan penambahan sel busa juga berhubungan dengan ketebalan dinding aorta. Peningkatan HDL berhubungan dengan penurunan LDL, serta berkurangnya sel busa dan ketebalan dinding aorta
