EVALUASI HASIL PENERAPAN LATIHAN METODA BOBATH PADA PENDERITA CEREBRAL PALSY TIPE SPASTIK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN CEREBRAL PALSY ASSESSMENT CHART BASIC MOTOR CONTROL DI YPAC SEMARANG

Abstract

Objective : The aim this study is to evaluate the motoric improvement of spastic cerebral palsy treated with Bobath methode by using cerebral palsy assesment chart basic motor control. Study design : One group pre-post test design. Methode : 31 subject with attend the physical therapy of Semarang Handicapped Children Institue (YPAC Semarang) was evaluated by using CP assessment chart basic motor canto' before treated with Bobath methode. After a series of twice weekly Bobath exercise session at YPAC Semarang and daily home programme exercise, they were reevaluated at the end of the 6th and 12th weeks. Result : The motoric improvement at position 1-12 and 14 of them were of statis tical significance (p<0,05). We noted that subject with IQ > 40 and/or are able to walk or without walking aid at the intake will benefit more of these exercie. Conclusion : There were motoric improvement at the position 1-12 and 14.
