Abstract

Konsumsi gizi merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh langsung terhadap status gizi. Konsumsi gizi dapat dinilai secara kuantitatif yaitu dari kandungan zat-zat gizinya seperti energi, protein,vitamin A, besi dan iodium. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat konsumsi gizi dengan status gizi anak balita umur 24 - 59 bulan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research, menggunakan metode survey dan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian adalah semua anak balita di Kelurahan Tegalpanggung Kecamatan Danurejan Kota Yogyakarta. Besar sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 anak. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan analitik. Sebelum dilakukan uji statistik dilakukan uji normalitas data. Data status gizi sebagai satu-satunya variabel terikat bagi variabel-variabel lainnya berdistribusi tidak normal, maka uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi rank spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase anak balita dengan tingkat konsumsi energi baik sebesar 71,43%; tingkat konsumsi protein baik sebesar 82,86%; tingkat konsumsi vitamin A baik sebesar 91,43%; tingkat konsumsi besi baik sebesar 57,14% dan tingkat konsumsi iodium baik sebesar 85,71%. Analisis statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang sangat bermakna pada variabel: tingkat konsumsi vitamin A dengan status gizi; tingkat konsumsi besi dengan status gizi dan tingkat konsumsi iodium dengan status gizi. Adanya hubungan yang bermakna terdapat pada variabel: tingkat konsumsi protein dengan status gizi. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak ada hubungan bermakna adalah tingkat konsumsi energi dengan status gizi. Disimpulkan persentase tingkat konsumsi energi, protein, vitamin A, besi dan iodium adalah baik. Terdapat hubungan sangat bermakna antara status gizi dengan tingkat konsumsi vitamin A, besi dan iodium. Hubungan bermakna antara status gizi dengan tingkat konsumsi protein dan tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara status gizi dengan tingkat konsumsi energi. Disarankan status gizi dan tingkat konsumsi gizi yang sudah baik agar dipertahankan, dengan cara memberikan penyuluhan melalui posyandu, arisan, PKK dan lainnya. The nutrition consumption can be estimated quantitavely from nutrient content as energy, protein, vitamine A, iron (ferrum) and iodine. Aim of the research is to know associated consumption level of nutrition with nutritional status of children age 24 - 59 months. Kind of the research is explanatory research, to have the use survey method and cross sectional approach. Population of the research is all of children age 24 - 59 months old in Tegalpanggung village. Total sample of the research are 70 children. The data were analyzed discriptively and analyticaly. before to do test of statistics was done test of normality. The datas of nutritional status as the only variable for others variable, distributed not normally, so test of statistics was used in the research is test of correlation rank spearman. Resuld of the research showed percentage of children with consumption level of energy was 71,43%; consumption level of protein was 82,86%; level consumption of vitamine A was 91,43%; level consumption of iron (ferrum) was 57,14% and iodine consumption was 85,71%. Statistics analysis showed an associated a verry significant in the variable: consumption level of vitamin A with nutritional status, consumption level of iron (ferrum) with nutritional status and consumption level of iodine with nutritional status. There was an associated a significant in the variable: consumption level of protein with nutritional status. But cunsumption level of energy with nutritional status is not associated a significant. The conclusion result that percentage of children with consumption level of energy, protein, vitamine A, iron (ferrum) and iodine is fine. Found is an associated a very significant in consumption level of vitamine A, iron (ferrum) and iodine with nutritional status; an associated a significant in consumption level of protein with nutritional status and an associated not significant in consumption level of energy with nutritional status. Recomended that nutritional status and consumption level of nutrition was fine must be defended, with giving insruction in post of integrated health servicing (posyandu), eduld education of family prosperity (PKK) and others.
