Abstract
Sediment transport, particularly suspended load in the river is mainly derived from sheet erosion that takes piece in Catchments Area, the math influential factor is precipitation; hence there is a relationship between the suspended sediment and precipitation rates which can be otherwise stated that the latter relationship is a transformation of rainfall relative to suspended sediment transport phenomenon. Hydrologic model took form of a tank which was applied analysis of suspended sediment transport. Parameter of the model was determined using Powell's optimization approach method. The model was applied for Catchments Area of Lusi river in Banjarejo, Central Java. Analysis results show that accuracy values from calibration were : Relative Error (RE) of 0,97 %, Correlation Coefficient (r) of 0,97, and Volume Error (VE) of 0,99 %. The outcome of model parameter optimization for suspended sediment transport was pretty close with experimental values, except for some discrepancies. Model modification. Angkutan sedimen, utamanya angkutan sedimen layang yang ada di aliran sungai sebagian besar berasal oleh erosi permukaan yang terjadi di DAS dengan faktor pengaruh utama arlalah debit aliran sungai, sehingga ada hubungan antara angkutan sedimen layang dengan debit limpasan/aliran permukaan. Model hidrologi berupa model tank diaplikasikan untuk angkutan sedimen layang. Parameter model ditentukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan optimal metode Powell. Model ini diaplikasikan untuk daerah aliran sungai Lusi di Banjarejo, Jawa Tengah. Hasil analisis model menunjukkan bahwa nilai ketelitian basil kalibrasi, yaitu nilai kesalahan relatif (RE) adalah sebesar 0,97 %; nilai koefisiensi korelasi (r) sebesar 0,97 dan untuk kesalahan volume (VE) sebesar 0,99 %. Hasil optimasi parameter model berupa nilai angkutan sedimen melayang mempunyai kemiripan cukup baik dengan nilai observasi, akan tetapi masih terjadi rentang selisih. Sehingga diperlukan penyempumaan model tangki. Kata kunci : Angkutan Sedimen Melayang, Curah Hujan, Model Tangki, Erosi, DAS.
