Abstract
This research examined retail small manufacture strategy to improve performance due to achieve a competitive superiority. The research problems fully supposed is research gap from previously research. How is influence of service orientation, industrialist, and market toward retail small manufacture, location toward retail small manufacture, product choice toward performance of retail small manufacture, and performance toward sustainable competitive superiority of retail small manufacture. The research variable and indicator are also based on previously research. A model have been improved and three hypothesis have been formulated to answer this research problems. Respondents of this research are 120, whom that respondents are retail small manufacturer in Semarang City. Data analysis tools used is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) at AMOS 4.01 program. Data analysis results of this research showed that model and research results are taken well done. Then the results of this research is proven that the service orientation, industrialist orientation, and market orientation significantly proven have positive influence toward performance increasing of retail small manufacture. The location is significantly proven have positive influence for the performance increasing of retail small manufacture. The product choice estimated will be have negative influence exactly showed the result of positive relationship with performance of retail small manufacture. Whereas the performance of retail small manufacture is proven have positive influence and significantly toward a competitive superiority. Penelitian ini menguji strategi usaha kecil ritel untuk meningkatkan kinerja dalam rangka mencapai keunggulan bersaing. Permasalahan penelitian yang diajukan sepenuhnya merupakan research gap dari penelitian sebelumnya, Bagaimana pengaruh orientasi pelayanan, pengusaha, dan pasar terhadap kinerja usaha kecil ritel, lokasi terhadap usaha kecil ritel, pilihan produk terhadap kinerja usaha kecil ritel dan kinerja terhadap keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan usaha kecil ritel. Variabel dan indikator penelitian juga didasarkan pada penelitian sebelumnya Sebuah model dikembangkan dan tiga hipotesis telah dirumuskan untuk menjawab masalah penelitian ini. Responden dari penelitian ini berjumlah 120, dimana responden adalah usaha kecil Ritel di Kota Semarang. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) pada program AMOS 4.01. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukkan model dan hasil penelitian dapat diterima dengan balk. Dan selanjutnya hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa orientasi pelayanan, orientasi pengusaha, dan orientasi pasar terbukti secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja usaha kecil ritel. Lokasi terbukti secara signifikan berpengaruh positif bagi peningkatan kinerja usaha kecil ritel. Pilihan produk yang diduga akan berpengaruh negatif justru menunjukkan basil adanya hubungan positif dengan kinerja usaha kecil ritel. Sedangkan kinerja usaha kecil ritel terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing
