Abstract
Bayi berat badan lahir rendah salah satu faktor penyebab kematian bayi di Indonesia serta mempunyai risiko terkena penyakit lebih besar dibanding bayi berat badan lahir normal. Angka BBLR di Puskesmas Gamping sebesar 12,39 %, lebih besar dibanding angka nasional sebesar 10,3 %. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis perbedaan pola pertumbuhan anak umur 0 - 16 bulan dengan riwayat berat badan lahir rendah dan berat badan lahir normal. Jenis penelitian ini analitik dengan metode survei dan rancangan kohor pendekatan retrospektif. Popolasi penelitian ini anak balita yang lahir bulan September 2002 sampai Februari 2003 sebanyak 468 anak. Jumlah sampel 138 anak terdiri dari 46 anak dengan riwayat berat badan lahir rendah dan 92 anak dengan riwayat berat badan lahir normal diambil secara purporsive sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dilanjutkan dengan simple random sampling. Responden penelitian ini ibu balita. Data primer dan data sekunder diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Analisi statistik Mann Whitney. Hasil Ujin Mann Whitney tidak terbutki ada perbedaan pola pertumbuhan anak umur 0 - 16 bulan dengan riwayat berat badan lahir rendah dan berat badan lahir normal, nilai p = 0,185, tidak ada perbedaan kejadian infeksi (diare, ISPA,campak) anak umur 0 - 16 bulan dengan riwayat BBLR dan BBLN, tidak ada perbedaan tingkat kecukupan konsumsi eneri dan protein anak umur 16 bulan dengan riwayat BBLR dan BBLN. Perlu adanya pembinaan dan sosialisasi mengenai masalah BBLR beserta dampaknya kepada calon ibu dan ibu-ibu muda, untuk membantu menurunkan angka kejadian BBLR. Kata Kunci: Pola pertumbuhan, Berat Badan Lahir Rendah, Berat Badan Lahir Normal, Anak 0 - 16 bulan THE DISTICTION OF THE GROWTH PATTRERN BETWEEN CHILDREN OF 0 - 16 MONTHS OF AGE AND LOW BIRTH WEIGHT RECORD NORMAL BIRTH WEIGHT (Study in Gamping Puskesmas Sleman Regency Special Territorry of Yogyakarta 2004) Low birth weightinfant is one of the cause effects of the infants' death in Indonesia and has a risk to get bigger disease than adequate birth weight infant. The rate BBLR in Gamping is about 12,39 %, bigger than the national rate 10,3 %. The purpose of this research is to analyze the pattren difference of the children grwoth of 0 - 16 month of age and the low birth record and the normal birth weight. This is an analytic reseachusing survey methods and kohort planning of retrospective approach. The research populations are infants getting born in September 2002 up to February 2003 about 468. There are 138 samples of children consisting of 46 infants with low birthweight recurd and 92 of infants with normal birth wight record attained purposively parallel to inclusion and exlision criteria carried on simple random sampling. Infants mothers are the reseach respondents. Primary and secondary data is obtained through interviews and observations. Statistic analysis is Mann Whitney. The test result of Mann Whitney do not find out the pattren of the chldre growth of 0 - 16 months of age with low birth record and normal birth weight, p = 0,185, there is no infections incident distinction (diarrhea,ISPA,measles) of chlidren of 0 - 16 months of age with BBLR and BBLN record, there is no trate different of the consumption adequancy of energy and protein of 16 month children with BBLR and BBLN record. It is necessitated a development and socialization to recognize the problems and the impacts of BBLR to the pre mothers and young mothres, to help decreasing the occorrence rate of BBLR.
